Shut Up About Your Perfect Kid! The Movement of Imperfection presents a heartwarming, honest, and positive look at raising children with disabilities in a world that is pre-occupied with perfection. This uplifting and humorous workshop is presented by two mothers and sisters raising daughters with Asperger’s syndrome and bipolar disorder respectively. The presentation uses humor through personal family experiences to reinforce a message of hope, support, and acceptance for other family members, consumers, and educators. It allows the audience to laugh and to share the smiles and tears that come with raising a child with a disability (See attached flyer for more details)
